This show is for nice people ONLY. We’re sick and tired of doing these shows and making people laugh\, only to find out later that we had an audience member who does stuff like take up two parking spaces.Nice people of the world\, join us for a show where you’ll be able to laugh without the worry that you’re sitting next to a meter maid.Hey Party People! is Maine’s own Saturday Night Live and the ONLY show of its kind in the area. They have been featured in The Portland Maine Comedy Festival\, PortFringe Fest\, The Georgia Comedy Film Festival\, and scored a 980 on their SAT’s. \n60-75 minute sketch comedy show. One 10 minute intermission. Tickets $15 online\, $20 at the door. Positive mental attitude and joyous laughter mandatory for entry. Dress code: casual. Plus ones encouraged. Beer and wine for sale. Ages 18+. Please\, no gifts. \nABOUT THE SHOW: Hey Party People! is a sketch comedy group – they perform short\, written skits like you’d see on Saturday Night Live\, Key & Peele\, Monty Python\, or similar shows. They are not an improv group\, nothing you see at this show will be made up on the spot. Instead\, they take those ideas and concepts\, think them through\, turn them into scripts\, rehearse them and put them together over a months-long process. They create a brand new hour of sketch comedy every few months.
