Great Falls Comedy Club presents Rebecca Donohue, featuring Ian MacDonald, and host Nic Dufault!
Rebecca Donohue is a writer, showrunner and performer with an eclectic career centered around comedians, TV and digital media. She has over 15 years experience writing and performing, including winning a stand up spot as the only LGBT member of a USO tour for Navy Entertainment. As a stand up she has also appeared on various networks, including Comedy Central and VH1. Rebecca has written for several comedians including Rachel Feinstein, on her pilot SIDEPIECE for Comedy Central and is a regular contributor and writer for all things, Michelle Buteau. She recently served as a writer / story consultant for the comedy-docu series BOOK OF QUEER, which airs on Discovery+ in June of 2022 and is nominated for an Emmy in the writing category. As a showrunner, her series have racked up awards, including a Reality TV award for I WANT MY STUFF BACK and a Taste award for I’LL HAVE WHAT YOU’RE HAVING. Rebecca currently works as the head writer for THE DAN LE BATARD SHOW. Her women’s soccer project, IN THESE CLEATS sold to Megawatt Productions. It became one of the top World Cup soccer podcasts and landed a ‘new and noteworthy’ spot in Apple podcasts. In addition, Rebecca writes and develops original concepts around comedians and comedic talent. Her recently developed projects for drag queen, Bianca Del Rio and comedian, Rachel Feinstein were shopped alongside Jax Media and Funny or Die. Rebecca has also developed projects for Theo Von, Joe DeRosa, Al Jackson, Tone Bell, Josh Wolf, Jessimae Peluso and Dan Curry, the Executive Producer of THE ERIC ANDRE SHOW.
